    Was told that by two of the companies I worked at.

    The last was after I filed a complaint about the guy smoking and spending the weekend in my truck.

    Hopefully the guy smoking and spending the weekend in your truck was disciplined and/or terminated for such uncalled for behavior.

    I was in Arizona and my new truck was in Fontana. The OCM reached into a box, pulled out a key at random and handed it to me.

    That was the key to my truck and every other truck in the fleet.

    Yes, I can assure you they are all keyed alike.

    That's hardly sufficient evidence to substantiate "Most company trucks are keyed the same." That covers a lot of companies, and a lot of trucks.

    Thats no myth about the key fitting several of the same model truck. I was a lead driver and my key fit 5 or 6 different trucks of the same model. It fit the doors on all the trucks and the ignition on most of these trucks. We didnt have a guaranteed truck. Do yourself a favor and get a big ... duffel bag and throw your garb in it when you leave your truck. Then no worries.
