Would the injection pump have anything to do with it even though the motor runs completely fine when blowing heat instead of A/C?
The compressor is old and will likely be replaced soon. I did drain a bit of freon and it did seem to help. I will run the motor again tomorrow with A/C and see if the problem persists.
Because the governor regulates the speed of the engine when it is run in a fixed speed mode. If the load on the engine is large, the speed goes down and the governor has the injection pump add fuel to the engine to keep it running at the fixed speed. This was a common problem with refeers with kuboto engines, especially the D722 and it is still a common problems with other engines.
what you need my friend is updated manifold for ac compressor...I have been figting this problem for very long time , here is part number 22-1415 from thermoking.
Part# 22-1415 new manifold for ac compressor, toomuch freon floods compressor and compressor bogs engine down. Best of luck, Thank me later
Thanks for info. I have actually oversize T16 compressor. Looks like i need to get OEm compressor with new manifold
imagejpeg-0-1 648502537 IMG-2696 black manifold is old stile, as you can see new one cold side (brings freon in) is alot smaller, hot side is untouched. Cold side reduced how much freon goes in compressor and it won't bog down engine.
