This country's going to hell in a hand basket... guys need to lighten up. I will add one thing though... about Medicaid... it is so rife with mismanagement that it costs us taxpayers in the billions, not millions, in lost and unaccounted funds, and the moneys spent to try and figure it all out. Not sure where the figure being quoted came from, but if coming from the Feds... lol... no matter, I see no allowance in there for the after-thought of oversite due to lack of initial controls, the lost funds, and the salaries of the multitude of bureaucratic layers to make it work... albeit unsuccessfully. Medicaid is totally out of control and not doing what it was intended, or maybe doing more than what was intended... like bankrupting the country and various states. A good idea gone bad. Govt. run of course.... another reminder from...

you said it all, Im embarassed to say Im a truck driver anymore, its stereotyped as ignorant smelly unbathed trash anymore! Ive been driving just shy of 16 years now, its a sad industry these days.

 

Taking the time to communicate with all members no matter the years they have been in the industry, we can all extract information, tips, ideas from everybody.

Telling the truth is the only way to go. Healthy communication is always welcome.

 

Yes it appears that this industry is sad for the most part. This used to be a proud profession and to some extent, still is.

I have ran into my share of the "stinky drivers". Why does this happen? Can you imagine what is smells like in their cab. Gross!

I find it somewhat hard to believe that personal hygiene takes a backseat to making money. If you need to skip a shower to make money, you are either at the wrong company or just don't care about youself or anyone else.

Disgusting!
