That's because by nature humans are an irrational, emotional creature. We have known about logic and correct, disciplined thinking for thousands of years since ancient Greece. And still to this day we cannot adopt it into our day to day routines.D.Tibbitt, NavigatorWife, FlaSwampRat and 1 other person Thank this.

Ain't nothing wrong with a good nap. Assuming it's not when your driving of course.

I would assert that most people cannot distinguish their thoughts from their feelings.NavigatorWife and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

Sometimes if loaded well, I'll ease over until a foot from their trailer center. Then try to pull them over here. (They hate that...)

We can have feelings before thoughts. But we shouldn't act until we have had thoughts about it.NavigatorWife Thanks this.

Because they are either arrogant or stupid, take your pick.
This morning I am driving down i94 where it is a two lane and there are two trucks in the right lane with three truck lengths between them. The one in front is doing no more than 67 and the second is s l o w l y catching up to him, emphasize slowly.
Im in a group of maybe six cars and pickups doing between 75 and 80 with two people passing us at 85 plus. So as soon as the two faster cars pass the truck in the back, he flips his turn signal on and whips right in front of the first car in our group almost causing an accident. I know the two cars in front of the pack are pissed off, the pickup in front of me gets on the cb and asked the driver what is his problem, he had plenty of time to let us pass but no answer except a brake check from the truck. Another complaint from the pickup truck and the driver gets on and says he didn't have time to wait, so ****** off. For four miles we sat behind this stupid driver as he s l o w l y edged his way past the other truck, two miles of him sitting right next to the truck as if to tell the other truck to yield or else he will be there for a while.D.Tibbitt, NavigatorWife, TravR1 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Sad, but now , worse it seems everyday it is a all about "me" attitude. Courtesy on the road is rare. When i encounter courtesy i make sure to acknowledge it. A smile , wave (not the one finger) salute.D.Tibbitt and NavigatorWife Thank this.

I had a fast truck that I drove safely at posted highway speeds , the megas used to whine at me for rolling out , that was when I hung OTR up , drive your own truck and don't worry about everyone else , and if I pass you safely 7 times a day thats really none of your buisness either.
