Anyone mentioned throwing iron in boxers and flip flops because it's August and shouldn't snow yet?

That's not an EVERY Driver activity. That's just for the ones who drive too close to Polar Bear territory.

Bypass all the scales running from Amarillo Texas to Phoenix Arizona by way of US 60 going through Salt River Canyon.

Watch the sunrise over the Rockies and rolling north in Ohio on 71 or 75.

Stop at the Connecicut Welcome Center on 95.

Drive thru blizzards on US-81 Kansas into Nebraska and on the 90 South Dakota to Ohio.

Sit in morning rush hour in Chicago and mess with the cb rambos while doing so.

Fuel in Nitro, WV without getting pissed off.

What's so special about 71 and 75? Ohio ain't that pretty. I should know, I live here. Don't really consider the traffic bad on those either unless you're near the big cities and it's still better than going through Pittsburgh.

I disagree. I live here too. East side of Cincinnati. Has some of the best sunrises on those interstates. Also, love Eastern Ohio out in Highland County and east.

I weren't sure where you was going with that. Sunrises here definitely ain't bad my issue with Ohio west of say canton is it is too flat for my tastes. UNLESS you are in the very southern region or along the river valleys.

My very first trucking job on my very first run, drove from LA to Chicago. Arrived at the delivery in a blinding snow storm. Stepped out to zip up my coat and my door blew shut, locked, with my keys inside, and my wallet, and my phone. Took 6 hours to get a guy out to open it while I slowly froze to death.

My former boss (a jerk) once took an off ramp to pee, jumped out between the cab and trailer and forgot to set the brakes. Both rear tractor axles ran over his legs and broke them both. He still drives today, but with a handicap placard and a grumpier attitude.
