About 7 miles east of town you come up to a little lake. At the end of that lake there's a road, take that road north about 8 miles, you come to a Y, go left and take it 3 miles, go over a cattle guard and off on the right will be a green gate. Leave machine there. You should be able to turn around somewhere.
And wouldn't you know it I get up there and can't for the life of me get the APU on the old scissorneck lowboy to fire up. Fun times!!!SingingWolf, x1Heavy, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -

Like I mentioned in another post, knocking like that tends to bring out a sort of, PTSD whenever knocking occurs anywhere else. With that in mind, electrify the outer hull of the tractor and hear that knocking turn into "Z-Z-Z--Z-Z--Z-Z-Z" and then some guy on the ground fidgeting!!Brickwall, SingingWolf, UturnGirl and 2 others Thank this.

Unloading a pneumatic tanker in the middle of the night in Seminole, OK. Engine wound up 1300 rpm, PTO whining away. Got my pressures stable and jumped back in the truck to finish up the delivery ticket. Jumped back out, shut the door on the company Volvo I was driving, and it locked me out.
Now it's one thing to be locked out of your truck, but when you're in the middle of unloading, it's a whole different thing. I can't shut the PTO off or anything. And of course I couldn't call for help, the phone was in the truck.
That's the night I learned to carry a spare key. -
Lol! Omg! I could imagine, I've operated vane pumps before. Not a good situation to be in.
