Here is another. I had dinner with 6 women. I am serious.

    Here is how it went.

In a quality inn somewhere in the midwest, the place had rotting lead paint, rusting quietly exposed structural metal etc. Windows long since frosted over from age and no one wipes it anymore. It happened to have a restaurant.

    Bingo, food time.

Went in, silent as a church. Picked a corner table One came up handed me a menu. As I was assembling the order mentally more staffers came up quietly. They literally had NOTHING I repeat NOTHING to do in the entire place. Half the rooms were being aired out open and there was maybe two that were occupied with snoring. Front desk showed up at my table. It's 3PM, not yet time for a break.

ALL 6 worked to bring dinner to the table. Then settled in around to wait on coffee refills and such seconds I might ask for. I kept saying to them I am not accustomed to this level of service from so many pretties and it's a most unusual situation. One said that I was the first one served this week. (It's thursday... the resturant as neat as a pin...)

Then it got different really fast when they agreed it's break time and went back and forth to the kitchen to assemble and cook thier own dinners and brought to my table to settle.

Now mind you, I started at 3 and figure on a hour and gone maybe. I did not get out of there until 9.

Dispatch started yelling some seriously profane murder wondering what in hell happened that night. I aint told him *&^% until now. Maybe he can read on this and choke on it. he he.

Im not much of a runt to look at but let's say it was nice for them to be around a man for a while unworried about being hit on or some stupid stuff a while. It worked out well. You could not pay money or love for stuff like that.

Oh the dinner bill? 14 some odd dollars.

I don't know what the 6 got paid hourly on the clock, but it aint profiting that outfit for sure.

Got the flu and shut down in a pilot for 3 days. Had to use restroom every hour. By day 2 I stopped getting dressed and just shuffled across the lot in my bad trucker teddy bear pajamas.

Showing the scale person in Idaho the permits and getting ready for the overweight ticket when a different truck goes over the scale at highway speed and keeps going, was told to get out now quick as that trooper took off for that truck. Have to thank that trucker, got me out of a fine for being 100 pounds over on drives.

    Grubby and SingingWolf Thank this.

I was a trainee straight out of CRappy England who had a habit of shifting hard, amongst other things admittedly. But he had this habit of instead of trying to actually show/teach me anything, every time I'd screw something up, he'd lose his mind and get up in my face screaming, cussin', and threatening up a storm.

Got let go from swift when ma got sick and needed me to drive her to doctors, had to take a few days off to help her recover, called the office up and told them I needed to care for my 90 year old mother for a few days and was told to clean out the truck which was already done because if you leave anything even for a day they take all the good stuff... what that's saying..we care about family? whose?
