Talked with a buddy of mine last Fri.
He was cleaning out his trk. He tapped a bridge and they let him go..
Company side..
That sucks big time for him, been in the H.H. bussiness alot of years..
They let him take the trk. home to clean it out before he has to come to Cloud to turn it in..
I hope it gets better for you..
Me still at home, won't come back untill mid Feb..
Anybody hear from "sinister" lately how he's making out?? -
yes I went the share croper route, I sold my truck in may of 08 and dont think this is a good time to buy although trucks are getting cheap now lots are full. I know its slow even in best of times dec-feb are slow so Im just putting time in, now if its like this this summer prime time well I will have to rethink the program. sorry a bout your friend hittig a bridge doesent look good, I wonder if this is his first accident or if hes been talked to before, I would think if you was a good hand sometimes these things can be delt with without being fired. Things are changing you must really be at the top of your game now days, everybody is watching, my days of being a boot legger is all over. Enjoy your time off.

Yep, Just got back from going to the ocean on the west side of the gulf.
Met up with a buddy who lives in north Thailand and his lady, plus his 2 freinds who live in western canada..Go to Bangkok Tues and meet up with with another buddy flying in from Yellowknife..
My wife says I'm drinking to much. HaHa..
As for the bridge hit.
I believe they are cracking down on this again..
It's getting out of hand..
I have not discussed the all the details of his hit.
Not sure if he was to close to pole car or what..
Will talk with him when I get back and he has relaxed a bit.
Hope things work out for you and maybe might bump into someday back at work.

i think i can sing that tune, "blue, dispair, and agony on me" in the same boat. but i want to pull blades so bad i'm willing to do what ever it takes. didn't know i had to loose weight. cause i'm getting kinda hungry over here.

Dont know about blades or the wind side I also wanted to do wind my wife is a cert escort driver with car so its a good fit for us being empty nesters dont need to go home, but I was told the list is long and would need to put in a year before being put on the list, I can see that being a class 2 and have only seen one class 3 load in 4mo
so I can see taking the year but Im sure I will not be around past the 6mo mark, missed my first mortage payment in 22 years so cant work at a place were I cant pay my bills. I was told Im a slacker because I dont want to run 2400 3000 miles a week, what a joke I work smarter not harder. ATS can keep there BS 1.00 mi frt, Been talking to lawyer fiend looking into laws on there load offering practice There skiming money of the top and only offering what they feel anderson can getaway with. Right now there is so many drivers waiting to get in and take there shot at " Making the big Money" As a L/O we are at the bottom of the S--t pile compay drivers have insurance vacation, ecct, we get a 640 wk payment. Anderson stears you where they want you to go and when, you have no true say on running your business, Its Andersons way or get out of the truck cuse we got a new warm body to fill the sit, Average time at Ats is 3 years and normal is 3 mo that's got to say something. Anyways good look on your dream. -
Good luck with the lawyer thing. Rollie has more lawyers on retainer than I will ever use in a life time.
On the H.H. side we a pretty much a forced board.. I learn to live with it.
But I sat and waited for a ld. going back to Canada, that will figure out I was with out a ld. for 2 1/2 weeks.
But I still will make a good check and have money in the bank baring me blowing an engine or tranny etc.
Things are slow still and the wind jobs are just starting up some next month.
Small jobs, no big projects yet.
Why not run the miles?
Show them you want to work. Yes work smart I understand.
But you need to prove your self as you are the new kid on the block here.
Not trying to be a smart #####, just a fact of life in this bussiness.

As far as I can tell just being at ATS 4mo ATS has lots of freight sitting is your option, thats not the problem, its quility good revenue freight. If your a runner and like to run hard as you can LEAGLE this is the place to be,
