The are guys out here like @Chinatown who are great and I know he has his detractors as well.
I just find it amusing as I am sure many do that the same people here seems to feed the negative stuff all of the time and try to rat out peoples heads.
I call it the Ken-L Ration mentality. My dog is better than your dog....bzinger Thanks this. -
I won't bother with the obvious or previously stated but I've run into some people of like mindedness , some people such as Hurst and cnspr that are hilarious , some people that are rude and judgemental but I get alot out of the site in terms of usefull information on equipment and being now 6 mos into the flatbed biz from reefers I've been blessed with info that has saved my arse and opened my eyes to things I wouldn't have thought of .
G13Tomcat and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this. -

Let's not forget that if you don't wear steel toe cowboy boots, jeans, flannel shirts, and drive without AC, you're not a real driver.... Typed as I sit here in tennis shoes, shorts, and a t-shirt, with bunk A.C. running....
GoldenLad, Giuseppe Ventolucci, CrappieJunkie and 3 others Thank this. -
The industry is doomed.......
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
I think it depends on how you use the forum. I've learned a lot here. Particularly about what to expect BEFORE becoming a driver.
I also pay a lot of attention to truck problems and maintenance threads. Even if the truck isn't the brand I'm currently in, I still consume any and all information in those threads because you just never know when that information might become immediately applicable to a situation.
I pretty much stay out of the bad trucking forum because you quickly realize it's just a bunch of one post wonders.
There is honestly a lot of amazing information that you can gather from this forum.
