Dont forget that elogs will kill us all.

We need to strike and maybe things will change.

    Cameras are evil.

Everyone who started driving a truck after 2000 is a steering wheel holder.

You have to wear jeans and a button down shirt or your not a professional.

My experience in trucking is you can make money under just about any circumstance.
But why make $10 if you can make $15 or $20, maybe even $25 for doing the same thing?

Also depends on what level of hassle you are willing to tolerate.

I think almost everyone likes the truth, even if they don't always speak it themselves. And drivers are lied to so much, their resentment for the people they are working for springs up, and multiplies. Starting with the fact that the driver believes in what the company is telling them. And the company demands the utmost honesty from the driver, so you have a HUGE double standard. So this condition manifests itself in every aspect of the relationship, driver to company.

I've worked for one guy, the dude here in Phoenix as an O/O, where the people in the office, have said awe we F' up. One guy, 11 years. Let me know when any mega personnel admit to a mistake.

No disrespect hand. I'm a Internet driver. ;-) Drove a 88 KW the other day. It might have more miles on it than me. It belonged in the junkyard like me.

Young drivers are 90 day wonders to get dispatch slighly aroused and tossed aside when they get tired.

Hookers and Blow are a future lifetime of regret. Enjoy them.

Feast and be merry with wine, women and song tonight for tomorrow you die.

Anyone can climb a mountain that is why God put em there, to amuse himself. Real drivers get down them without cooking brakes or killing anyone. Don't be stupid and drive a burned out 350 horse rig, get thee a 500 to 650 hp rig for the mountains.

Computers are a liability in trucking. So what if you evaporated a gallon of antifreeze and 300 miles from water. Shove a paper clip into the sensor and get going.

If you cannot stay awake don't drive. And sleeping is not allowed until you get home next month. Maybe.

Laws are not written for you. It is to be flouted, broken and abused by a crafty dispatcher making sure the money keeps flowing.

Shippers and recievers do not love you. Dump the load into the building and take off. The sooner is better.

New drivers are to be taught in many ways. Teasing them is a good way to do so.

Example. A new schineder pulled into American Eagle in Milford CT in a monsoon rain two feet of mud on the hill overflow parking. We surrounded his rig with 9 spotters and he puffed up like a peacock, this will be EASY.... every time his eyes hit a spotter there was a change in which way they told him to turn the wheel. within a few minutes he had worked up a sweat ruining his shirt and temper sawing on his large international wheel. he he.

One thing has gone unsaid here and I can't believe it...

Everybody here was born as super trucker; no tickets, no accidents, all the bad things happen to everyone else that is not safe, except for this person !

Raise your hand if your guilty.... Yes, you know I'm talking to you, reader !
