Things I have learned while being a gas hauler

Oh, yes... But grumpy isn't quite how we react... Many 4 letter words unfit to print are spoken loudly...
A couple other suggestions...
Restock your truck with water paste, diapers, and whatever sundries you have aboard before ending your shift.
Empty your trash bucket.
Leave your truck as your expect to find it at the start of your shift.
My night driver and I trade off cleaning areas of the truck.
I'll clean the glass and dash, she'll clean the console and mirrors... And so on. Her hands are smaller than mine, and she does a fabulous job.
She's pretty new to gas hauling, but she's got talent, and cares about her performance level.
We talk over how her night went, what went good and what caused challenges, and how to improve upon the lessons learned.
When she comes on, we go over her dispatch for the night, I'll answer any questions she's got, and offer suggestions on how to make those deliveries easy as possible.
I do what I can to help her succeed, and perform solid each night,setting her up for success.
I keep my phone on in case she's got a question no other night drivers can answer, and I'll answer if I'm not asleep.
My trainers did that for me when I came into the game, which helped me tremendously the first few months.
