I can still smell it. That glitter ball stuff had a unique smell all its own. Like the old interior color matched glitter steering wheels White-Frieghtliner had back then.

 

I have 2 shoe box's full of those toggle switch extensions.. if I see a truck in the weeds some where or I'am parts shopping in the bone yards .. 1st think I look for is those extensions..
It's a fedish I have.. you can never have to many ..lol

 

Yes.. Yes it did.. it was great smell .. then blend that smell with the evergreen air freshener and you got full fledged 1970's

 

There was a guy on ebay 15 or so years ago that had a ton of them. All shapes, sizes, and colors. Wife emailed back and forth with him and his granddaughter for awhile. Cool old guy. Turns out He was a distributor for them back in the day and and still had boxes of toggle extensions and shift knob glitter balls, tear drops, pistol grips and cat handles in his storage shed after all those years. His granddaughter set him up a store account to sell them. We bought a bunch from him. We’ve pretty much got one on every toggle switch and stick shift we have in all our vehicles.

the cool thing was they were brand new in the packages and Still had that new smell.

 

Chain drive wallets , chrome tipped cowboy boots , full service fuel pumps were they would wash your tractor and park it , that included a free steak dinner also , Monteagle Truck Stop.
Buck Owen and everbody else cds , you can barely find them anymore.
