That dude sure got around the country in the day! LOL

 

Best case :
A room full of pay phones. The nice ones were sit down booths with carpet on the walls
Worst case.
Lone phone booth in the winter at the edge of the parking lot waiting for dispatch to call you back

Separate truck driver seating areas in the full service restaurants. Stopping for a slice of pie and a coffee.
Ladders so you could wash your windshield without climbing on your fenders
2" fuel nozzles so you could fill up in a hurry. No automatic shutoffs. Then get your truck off the island as a courtesy to the next driver.
Truck washes that actually used brushes without 5000 psi blowing your paint off with chemicals
