Swinging wide isn't that bad. It's when I start to slow down way too early for the red light that my wife doesn't like. :)

Wait until you’re daydreaming and you pull into the weigh station after forgetting how many wheels you don’t have.

Trainers make mistakes, but it's part of being human.

Had to turn right and the light was red but there was a green arrow for right turn. Trainer didn't notice and started shouting STOP STOP STOP. I slammed the brakes, stalling the truck and nearly making another trainee in the back fall off the bed. I asked him what's wrong and he said we have a red light. I pointed to the light saying "we have a green turn arrow". He held his head in shame and said sorry, but thank you for listening when I said stop.

I made A VERY bad MISTAKE. Once with my favorite trainer. We had me in that stupid drivers seat all #### day fighting the freaking Harrisburg, Washington (UGH...) RICHMOND and by the time we hit the north carolina line I had about just ENOUGH of these predatory commuters not to mention getting tired.

Found a rest area down by the SC Line. I had wanted so much to be in SC rest area that any old rest area would do even the former weight station. Pulled in, filled out logs to NC/SC line went to bed.

5 miles later a VERY heavy brake application which is our special GTF Up call... and there is my angry trainer glowering at the gigantic SC state sign.

    Back to logging.

Ive done many more since then but that particular trip UGH.
