Think about becoming a trucker

I wonder how highlight is keeping their freight moving so well. I've seen some horrible reviews about highlight on indeed but talked to some drivers in truck stops and they seemed to be pretty happy. Gonna call them up tomorrow and see if they got anything headed west towards LA. I told challenger to start sending me west or I'm outta there, can't count how many times I've had to sleep in questionable areas in new Jersey because there was no parking.

Just outta curiousity, how are the rates running NE?

 

Because they didn’t get hung up on 1-2 customers, then get ####ed over when those customers started trucking companies. They also are in partnership with Loblaws, and they established Terminals in the US. (Chicago, New Jersey, LA). Also their logistics division is good at what they do, and very Russian. They don’t play games, they will leave your freight on the dock no problem. They quote some lower rates, but not to the bone like Bison or the Indian outfits.

The rates everywhere are ####, but I’m on mileage + event pay, so it doesn’t bother me. I would be crying on % right now.

 

I make $500 working Sat/Sun doing runs to Fort Edward, NY.
