think im screwed

Sounds to me like a cause for a lawsuit, if one wanted to take it to that level.

 

I have considered that....I feel it is slander to my record.
I was found not guilty in a court of law and can prove it but Hire Right said that does not matter.....Stupid!

I got an email from them yesterday saying they are still working on my dispute...yea..I believe that!
Nice that they can ignore court documents and leave what they want on my record..
I may end up talking to an attorney over this.
Let him send Hire Right and that company a letter of intent to open a lawsuit. It may get their attention.

 

So my understanding of your situation is that you were legally stopped at a stop sign, correct?

The other vehicle never touched your tractor or trailer, correct?

If this is true you were not involved, you are not part of this accident, This should have been made clear to the reooper taking the information up front. A lawyer can get this removed.

What make this bad is injuries and tow trucks, this becomes a DOT reportable accident and none of the big carriers will touch you because your listing a DOT reportable accident. You need to get this removed, Your exemplyer should also re interested in being removed from there CSA/SAFER Score.

Something's just not right with this story....But hey, the current way this country is wacked out, nothing surprises me....I'm just glad I'm not a young snot in this business anymore....I sure do miss the old days though.....
