Thinking about a career change and trying to find as much as can about maybe driving for a living if it is possible these days. I drove for a few months 12 years ago but never followed up on it.
Get your CDL and the jobs are there. Many, many companies will hire you & not just the so-called CDL mills. Go to a truckstop and get those free little magazines about trucking companies, then research the ones you prefer, on the internet and on here. When you're within a couple of weeks of graduating from CDL school, start putting in applications. Ignore the, "X" amount of experience required", and apply anyway. Apply for what you want; OTR, local, regional, LTL & you will have a good job the day you graduate.
