I have put this idea on the back burner for now. it seems like theres a lot crap you have to put up with just to even get into it from all the horror stories I've read on here and there's not much pay off for all the misery. My biggest fear is getting though the on the road training I've read a lot bad stories about that in particular.

Well sorry to hear that. I just had my interview with a school that I thought I wanted to go to and thats was pretty discouraging. Mostly finance and lodging, I can deal with other issues when I want something bad enough.
