A big hurdle I see is teaming. Teaming can be very difficult. I was solo in three weeks, and that three weeks was too long. Seems to me once you pick a company your locked in for a year. You don't want to job hop and there just aren't opportunities for a guy that found the wrong company and wants another after two weeks. Without experience you'll be forced to stay. If teaming is something you know you can manage, and everything else looks good, jump in and hold on tight.

    Have you looked into tankers?

I really want to stay with dry van or refer because I have drove dry van in the past and refer now in a non cdl truck. The tanker thing just don't do much for me personally. The team thing will be tough I'm kinda a neat freak and don't mind alone time without saying a word..Ha. Yep a year is what I already was figuring on putting up with a company if I'm not that happy. But hope I find the right company from the start.
