My dog loves the truck. We are out 30-40 days together. I treat him like a partner and by saying that I mean I am mindful of his needs. He walks 6 times a day. Fed well, brushed, and if we park where I can put a chair out we sit out for a couple of hours. I would never go out again without him. I do recommend anyone who is getting a new dog to ride I would suggest getting a puppy from a shelter and give a dog that most likely will be put down a chance at a good life with purpose. My dog is extremely friendly, unless you try to get in the truck.

I suppose you could get a cd of dogs barking and listen to it all day. No mess, no cost to feed

Helps out with any overzealous officers that want to inspect the cab. "No officer I will not help you with your duties."

not if you buy the inflation kit that you T into your drivers seat air line.

just get an air regulator so that you do not over blow your doll.

Why not rescue an adult dog? I found mine at a shelter in idaho, he didnt like the truck much at first but never had toilet accident in 5 years. I reckon older dogs have learnt to control when to go! Buggered if I'd have wanted to actually toilet train a dog in here with me though, that would not have worked for me at all.
I wanted a reason to get out and exercise, but he's lazier than I am so that didnt work well but he's great company.

I have a collie/lab, shes 6. She comes with me when she can and loves it. Never had an issue. Gf has aa toyaussie, she's 2, isnt a fan of vehicles but was fine in the truck. Its nice having te comapanionship, and mine definitely didn't have any accidents. I don't know your dog but Dixie would probably be fine.
