One of my favorite careers has been hauling cars. For the newbies, please do your due diligence. So many of you come in with visions of big money and are soon overwhelmed with the process. A 3 car hauler behind a pickup is a road that will most likely end much too soon. In a hurry to make money you book the first thing that comes along, or the crumbs which are the low paying cars. Then the flimsy trailers, poor brakes, broken transmissions, scrubbing axles, wear you out real fast. But you're committed now, so what to do ?? I HIGHLY recommend starting with nothing less than a 5 car trailer and a single axle tractor. MUCH more durable.! A three car will never feed the family, never. The only fix to the 3 car pickup truck problem is HIGHER RATES. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't pull cheap cars.
