Haha! I highly doubt it, but if you're right, I'd feel extremely flattered none-the-less. :') I'm currently looking at some western region jobs, so we'll see what happens.

Could you get thru the Landstar qualification process and what are you looking for as far a CPM?
-
Have you looked at Central Oregon Truck Company or trans-system.? Trans-system has Western Regional or 48 states.
-
Central Oregon has a really good benefit package Im suprised they have recruitment issues, but then on second thought throwing tarps and iron might explain it.
-
Melton doesnt have any regional if that's what you're looking for. You'd be stuck on the east coast or midwest with them fighting to find you a load back west. We do run to WA, just isn't a normal route. I had a friend work for Central Oregon and loved it but they wouldnt let him bring his dog...
As for your size, Melton has a couple ladies that are your size and they have no problem with the tarps. Usually get the forklift to do it, or just get a guy in the yard to help them toss em up. Our tarps though are also lighter weight, smaller 8' drops..only about 70 pounds each, so they're a little easier. -
Hi British Blonde, how was central refrigerated? I should be asking you this on the central fridge thread it was one of the companies I'd been considering before reading something in the news so interested in your experiences there. If you have the time, would you could you post on their thread/forum?
-
Sure, I'll head over there now and write up a post for you
