I don't think my six months solo is sufficient, I may need additional training in the Bahamas.

Can you get enough miles in the Bahamas? And how about that crazy Brit wrong side of the road stuff?
Anyway I really need to get on with a good mentor and you sound great. I'm 58 and Swift will be my first trucking job. I live in San Antonio and A21CAV told me I should look you up as you aren't far from where I are. I smoke (mainly cigars, pipe but I also roll cigarettes when I don't have time for these). I, too, sing mostly blues and eclectic stuff but R&R does it for me to. I went to orientation in Laredo last week but they didn't have enough mentors at that time so they sent half of us home. Since Monday I've tried to get ahold of Keta but she doesn't pick up or return my calls.
I'm ready to go (living out of my bag) anytime and will be happy to drive anywhere to meet you that I can leave my car in a secure place. My wife has MS so she can't drive and daughters have jobs that might stop them helping me.
Please let me know as I really need to get to work soon.
    Thanks.
By the way my first name is Franklin last Initial W. Keta should know who I am.

Bluebonn, just heard from Keta, she had been sick, and she said she had a trainer for me. Later, I got a call from Caesar (do you know him?) saying he would be my trainer but he was going to take a few days home time and asked me if that was alright. I thought that was pretty nice of him he sure didn't have to ask me anything and he says he'll contact Keta because she told him I was anxious to get on the road and maybe she will have someone else leaving sooner. I said I was fine with us leaving out Sunday I just want to get working. If he takes me on he'll pick me up in his car Sunday so I can leave mine at home. That also was nice. If you know him please let me know what you think of him. All input is much appreciated. It still would be great to be trained by you and maybe that's how it will end up but I have to start making some money or I'm going belly-up.

Anyone looking for a mentor I am available now.. message me if your interested and serious about learning.. We will be out west 99 percent of the time so you will get plenty of mountain experience and maybe a little snow. Also the truck only runs super solo and shuts down every night for better rest

How do you manage to stay west 99% of the time? I live near Phoenix and my home terminal is Lewiston yet I seem to spend most of my time east of I-35.
