I asked and yes it’s for new drivers. But you’re paying for it. The lease isn’t cheap. Schneider does something similar but with 6 months of minimum experience. The great thing about it is that it’s a walkaway lease.

I doubt that. Schneider and trucking as a whole would be done with at that point. Logistics ain’t never going away. You’re never gonna get rich with them that’s for sure. Then again I don’t think most people working with that company are chasing $$

Not many guys on here that were on Schneider lease are still on…Schneider isn’t going anywhere, and their lease definitely helps Schneider. Otherwise why would they do it? They are not in business to fulfill your dreams. They’re in business to make maximum profits. The lease purchase helps maximize their income. Your income is not their priority.

just like any business. If you want to maximize profits then you need to work for yourself period. Leasing only makes sense for certain people in my opinion. Schneider’s lease opportunity has its place. You can try it for a year and throw in the towel if you don’t like it.

How many years have you been released on with Schneider?

I haven’t leased on with Schneider but I did speak with the recruiter. That’s as far as k went with them. I’d probably only consider working with Schneider for a few months. I don’t have experience so I have no leverage

You’re an independent contractor so you can run however you want. Just have to make sure your bills get paid.

Never been with Schneider. If you’re an independent contractor they can’t tell you how to run or force dispatch you. That goes for every company. But I don’t see how you’d be able to do 4 and 4 while covering all your costs. Be pretty tough to pay everything and have much left over to live on while running 16 days a month in this market.
