No way to tell... every company is different. Long haul-short haul. Some outfits pay MORE for teams some just split one drivers wages into two. Some want you to run 5k per week and some just put you on any load.

Trucking is NOT like a 9-5 job with everything the same everyday. One day you are running a dedicated run and the next day that run is gone to another outfit or another driver in your company.

My opinion? Putting TWO rookie drivers in the same truck is asking for trouble. Now you have two people without experience making bad decisions... sorry but until you have at least one year under your belt you can be a liability rather than an asset.

Look at the hundreds of posts here from rookies who have screwed up and been fired or they simply quit after BIG boo-boos. One fella here had an accident HIS FIRST DAY and now, after a couple months, had another.

Driving these trucks is NOT simple... it's NOT romantic... it's hard, demanding work requiring good skills and concentration. Good judgement... good training.

You have to drive in rush hour city traffic, big Wyoming winds, tight roads in the northeast, down STEEP downgrades that will kill you with one mistake... it is not an easy job.

I'm not saying you won't make it... but many answers are impossible to give... you have to find out with experience.
