You're not signing on for a lifetime commitment. If it looks like a good fit, go. Get trained, find out how what you do and don't like about how the company works, about what the job entails and you will have a better understanding of what you are looking for at the next job.

I like long haul, coast to coast runs. I like running 3200 to 4000 miles a week. Others will tell you that being local is the only way to go, some like regional and home weekends and people like me are out of our minds. To each their own. I don't like Regional, I don't like Local.

Pick a company and get started, find out what you like and what you really want to do. Some people spend more time trying to decide which company to start with than they actually spend at the company.

Get started, get trained, figure out what you want and find your perfect fit.

@KMac - good post; my feelings exactly. People who plan to attend a trucking company school spend too much time worrying about which one. It doesn't matter which one, just get it over with and move on. While you're there fullfilling your obligation, plan your next move because there's a hundred companies to choose from.
I've noticed some people on here procrastinate for months or even years, where if they had just done something, their career would already be in motion and the training company would be history.
