Did you know that legally you are required to show the time you work at the gas station on line 4? Look at the definition of on-duty time in 395.2

Shhhhh don't tell everybody. There won't be enough drivers to cover the freight next week.

And you make 45,000.....WHY LEAVE.......After I shut down my "company" and truck,...I spent a couple weeks running a friends carhauler,...I was working well over 100 hours a week and wouldn't have cleared 40,000 a year doing that......It didn't take me long to bail out of that...lol

Is Sysco hiring??,....That's the kind of local job I want to find again......

That's what I'm afraid off,...I'm trying not to move to a bigger city...And all we have here in Wisconsin is "Baraboo Sysco"...which is one of the only, if not the only non-union Sysco branch in the country,...If I'm going to get back into the distribution biz,...I want a contract to spell out the job.....To many varibles without it....I learned that the hard way...

My wife and I are a team. It by no means is easy money. We work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Most companies like to keep teams out a couple months at a time, and even at that you have to fight with them to get home. Is it good money, you betcha! However our income all goes to one household. I have run team with another driver before, this is something I will never do again! It just wasnt worth it.(in every aspect) If you like to be home this is not for you. However if you were selling your home or didnt mind being out for months at a time maybe consider it. Good luck!

Alright I can't resist, I have read everyone's post and feel I need to give what advice I can. I am 40yrs young and just started driving a little over 6mo's ago. I started teaming right of the bat with a guy I have known for over 7yrs but, I found out after 4mo's that he is strictly a solo guy. He has tried teaming twice now and swears he will never do it again. I can get along with anyone, well mostly, and I figure if you are the type of person that give-n-take with the best of them than give it a try. I am going to team with my wife, if she passes the class that is. We have been married for 18yrs and together for 22yrs, I figure whats the worst that could happen at this point. I am going to take advantage of the fact that companies are focusing on Husband and Wife teams and make as much money as I can as fast as I can.
You all be safe out there....
