well i finally got through for the local position, on the beer acct., it's slip seating but home daily and 14hr workdays. .33cpm 15$ any trips under 100mi. still haven't made any final decisions
ugh! thats pitiful @#@* pay, get a real timeline on the raises in a written offer, otherwise,...hmm JB must have bid that account knowing without hazmat drivers come cheap. thats why was saying Chicago Inter Modal is about the only real payer on dedicated crap..####..this pay with inflation drops one down to 1998 levels..wow! get in on a tanker job somehow, something non haz at first.. it'll atleast keep better quality food on the table,..yikes
Congrats, Local jobs are hard to get anywhere, Dont listen to people tell you the pay is week, they are jealous. You will get better pay in time.
I got offered intermodal 31cpm, 35 dollars per trailer,15 dollar per hour after The first hour of waiting out of Elizabeth,nj is that a good deal?
Guess it depends on what competing accounts in the area are paying it is at least local I think I will stay on my acount 46 cents a mile 22 a stop and 100 when the trailers empty .
They pay very well uasually they pay higher than the competing carriers so they can get better drivers so if you make so much at jb account x then the guys working for a competing carrier are making less .
