relax man. You can still be a driver and not have to be away from your family. Are you going to a private college?

I think you should complete the school unless you can get a full refund. I am sure you will feel better knowing you were able to fight through some of the BS when all is said and done. Once you have your license in your hand you can venture out and see what your area has to offer. I feel some places wont talk to you honestly until they know you are completely serious and have completed all the requirements.

Welcome to trucking school son. I wish I could say you'll find better conditions elsewhere but chances are you won't. That being said, I've only ever driven local, never went over the road. There are no guarantees you'd be able to do the same and chances are you won't make very much for the first years if you did. But it is possible to drive and not have to be away from home for long periods of time if you look hard enough.

Put another way, there is never a down side to having a valid CDL in your pocket. It might not always help you, but it will never hurt you.

Listen take a deep breath...Relax and no matter what at least finish the schooling...A CDL is always good to have.. If i got upset at every jackoff that cussed at me in my 40 yrs of driving i would either be in jail or in my grave... just go with the Flow and take it easy...Dont Bail out it just shows you they win..beat em at their own game and graduated...
