Probably with either extensive experience or also shuttling. Even most yard companies require experience these days mostly just due to insurance requirements. Though there are a handful out there that don't even require CDLs.
My company pays 12.50/hour starting with slight raises depending on what shift you work.
Though I believe the average is about 15/hour.
I get plenty of overtime opportunities though, so I'm happy with it. Make more money backing trailers all day then I made otr.
