The 'yanks' do love there old 18 speed crash boxes, but then if it ain't broke, don't fix it.Soon the old yanks will have european spec trucks, that will be good, exspecially those with alloy cabs, they will last forever, and then they might be imported over here without to many changes needing to be done for our stupid MOT system.
I must say, I'm kinda in the opposite boat, I'm 25 single with no kids and currently drive a truck in America. I wonder how hard it would be to switch to Europes equivalent of a Class A CDL and find work there. For never having been to Europe I have a fairly good sense of geography of Europe, plus with our trucks being bigger & longer I'd assume those would be a plus. If you have any info on that it'd be greatly appreciated. I figured I could use the UK as a stepping stone to get my foot in the door in Europe then if I feel like move from there(Norway would be nice despite being expensive lol). Thanks and have a good day
