Thinking OTR???

    I'm a local driver....well local as in like 300 miles a day. I know I know that's alot of miles I don't need you telling me how awesome I am. Anywhoskie I'm looking for OTR wanting something dedicated maybe....I've not heard good reviews on....well any good companies...one person says I make 180 dollars average another says I make 1200 a week average and I'm like.....wellllll #### who do I believe...is it some crazy old trucker who won't take a 600 mile run because its insulting or what...anyway I need some good companies....I have a straight in with Gordon if I want it and same with May....I live close to Denver and need some advice sooooo lemme hear it!!!

    If you're single then go for it. What's the reasoning for wanting an OTR job, We get treated like #### and are away from our family's for weeks at a time!! Hardly a complaint, but it takes a certain type of person to successfully drive OTR.

    Well truth be told...my local gig is great but I wanna see some country and go after it for a while..its weird...but I wanna listen to willy Nelson driving through Texas....like 300 times.

    I get treated with respect. Make great moolah. Own my own truck/business. Have a house that's paid for, and a wife who is very supportive. So, as you see...you'll get various responses in this business. Go with your gut. Love it, cause, you have to...things will fall into place. Oh, and, make your own luck.
