Yes,Depending on what radio you buy you can have them do several different tunes.
Like the Bearcat a tune on it is 25 bucks.

The export radios get tuned and a channel conversion.
Also you can have a receive upgrade done too.

Screwdriver is the Tech.He does not hack up a radio like the truck stop CB shops.
No cutting the limiter out or any of that crap.
They are by the book and are a Warranty center for several brands so they do it right.

My radio was 100 watts PEP out of the box.
After tune it is 135.He could get 150 but does not want to push the limits and ruin the radio.

They use good equipment when doing a peak and tune,Bird meters and spectrum analyzer.

You can use the youtube link on the website and check it out.

Bells just got off the phone with me and since they did not sell that product, he is going to get it for me and send it to me when I order... They are going to tweek it to make it work best and they are also going to send me the mounting kit IF it is needed as I had suggested if I should take pics of the mount and send it directly to them first or second day of the course, then they said that he would ship it to me Priority 2-3 days top and they will send it to my hotel so that I can get it and put it in my new truck! Very happy thank you for pointing me in t
    he correct direction m regards

Sorry been off in space for a couple days. When your talking about antennas the wilson 5000 is one of the best on the market. I bought the francis whips because they were pretuned for 1.5 swr and that was back when i had a radio that had to be calibrated. Now that i have my galaxy i would much prefer the wilson 5000 specially since they dont ice up as bad in the winter. That is the one and only drawback of my francis whips taking the #### thing off to knock ice off it. Ice will hurt your signal and change things on your radio and that can he a royal pita so take that into account as well. If you dojt want to knock ice off your antenna all the time spend the extra money. And remember you can have the best radio on the market but with a horrible antenna like the barjans truckstops sell for $25 that come with 2 whips 2 mirror mounts and 9ft of split coax your just wasting your money on a good cb. And get decent coax too. I buy the clear stuff where i can see the braid havnt bout some for so long i have forgot the brand but its about $20/9ft its expensive but well worth it. Might save your life pretty sure that galaxy saved my a few weeks ago bob tailing through mountains in snow and ice.

If you want a SSB radio, I recommend going with a older Cobra 148. Give to a guy I know out in AZ. He is AWESOME on those Cobras!!! His site is www.snakeradiosinc.com

That Cobra better than the uniden 980? I am really digging the ability to change color of the screen and all the other bells and whistles.. plus I can still have Snake mod it for me..

EDIT: Also I know that the company truck that I will be driving is equipped with a place to put and antenna .. BUT I want to be able to move the antenna to use it in my other vehicles while not in the truck so is it wise to get the Magnet one or shouldI just by a mount for my other vehicle?

OK so I just got off the phone with "Walcott CB" and they guyon the other end of the phone told me that the Uniden was created by someone that was not into or knew to much about CB's and that it cannot be modified and that it is not that good a CB , is this true or was he just trying to get me into something more expensive? I think I am going to go with the Galaxy DX-959 radio as I can have it MOD'd and what not.. any suggestions anyone ?
