Dude, that truck looks ok, learn how to do a proper pre-trip. You should grab the pitman arm and it should be solid, the engine off you check the free play at the steering wheel.

I'll wager if you panned the camera up to the cab while you were doing that, the steering wheel was turning back and forth.

Looks like the power steering works good. It hard to see what your checking. The ball joints can't have any play or the steering gear box. You have check that inside with steering wheel play. I had 2000 Volvo truck and they kinda had trouble with the drag link ball joints going bad because they could not be greased.
