If you want legal logs, get the driver's recap hours, find out ahead next 8 days what that recap will allow a driver to work and then dispatcher needs to build a appt time with the shipper and reciever based on those availible hours.
That is not too hard is it? Someone tell me that at least. Legal appt time, no falsification needed anywhere in the system. -
I wish I'd of stayed at a Pilot or Loves, this Sheetz has drivers coming and going, about every 2 hours I get a new truck on each side of me taking their "ten" hour break.

They could be on elds and have to stop for two hours because they are doing the 8-2 split. And the eld told them it was time to stop.

The cost of ELDs, is that $800 going to put driver out of business. I don't think so. If 71% quit that will solve the parking problem and create a big demand for the trucks still on the road. I see a pay raise coming.
Tb0n3 Thanks this. -
Yeah right...... that worked out so well last time. Like CDLs and auto only on your license it's just a dumbing down.

And the reason you stayed at fuel stop? The lots were full at the real truck stops. Just wait it'll only get better. Soon you'll be complaining of the Jake brakes on the off ramps. "I can't sleep on my mandatory break with all this noise!"
