send a copy to his company. maybe he'll get fired for what amounts to damaging private property.
if a guy can get fired, for taking a dump behind his tractor, this (to me) is an insult as well, and should be severely dealt with.
in the end, our trucks get on site fueling., and i take care of all my windows during my pre then (post trips if need be).
and instead of using paper towels which can be wasteful, i use microfiber towels, and wash those at home.
(no bleach, no fabric softener, is how that is recommended)
This guy can't be serious

When I saw this on Facebook I saw a response from the alleged driver. They said it was their own personal tool and that they were cleaning ice/snow off from bobtailing (so it won't #### up the pad on the 5th wheel I'd imagine).
-
ok, if that's his story, and he's sticking to it!
-
I'm not seeing anything. What is everyone talking about?

the pic of a (possible CRST) driver washing his 5th wheel with a truck stop windshield sponge/squeegee.
Blackshack46 Thanks this. -
The fifth wheel has plastic top .
He has Holland FW35 Slick Plate. It's a plastic piece. No greasing required. Teflon I guess. He cleans it. Keep it clean for better performance !Last edited: Feb 22, 2018

You can't be serious?
With the amount of pressure on the fifth surface, anything gets squeezed out.
The driver who took the picture should have taken a picture of the trucks name and number, then brought the brush into the manager and complained about what happened, showing the picture to the manager.
There is no excuse for this stupidity but even less of an excuse of someone sitting on their *** doing nothing about it.buddyd157 Thanks this. -
Sand won't get pushed out, it'll embed in the Teflon surface and stay there.

I don't know why you were on ignore, but that's why I couldn't see the pic....
