Astute observation.
The blue truck driver looks for a confrontation all the time.
No avoidance or mitigation.
My previous carrier will mop the floor with him and fire him for this.
This guy needs medication

Ditto. In some cases what he did would constitute charges of road rage, reckless driving/endangerment and disorderly conduct.
In addition impeding traffic flow would also apply!Last edited: Apr 18, 2022

I hope nobody got hurt.
There are so few of us left. -
Bad Karma's going to eventually bite him in his ###. Looks like he’s already reaping what he sows. Miserable Moron can’t take the pressure. Throws a Tantrum like a little boy. No Daisy at all.

And firing for cause.
I know. My last Safety Manager was a real pro.
Retired after 30 years of surviving in the trenches.
As a Pro long haul driver.
He knew everything that needed to be known. -
The first one when he enters the intersection and then blows his horn. Really no excuse for that either.Chieftains, Boondock and Another Canadian driver Thank this.

If you are CONSTANTLY having close calls....... it may be you.... I occasionally have things that pop off, but after a while you SHOULD be able to read the situations long before they happen, then they are really no sweat.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

Silence is consent. By not focusing on the endless amounts of dangerous drivers operating commercial vehicles you are essentially condoning their behavior. Look at that mini novel you just wrote to justify your complacency of their actions. I bet you're one of them. I don't have the time, nor the desire to spend arguing this with you. You're not dragging me down to your level. I'll be ignoring you to avoid any temptation to smash you like a roach. Is this the time where you threaten me like a CB Rambo? Have a good day, ma'am.

I almost expect poor driving from a 4 wheeler but I hold "professional" drivers to a higher standard as we all should. None of those situations in that video should have taken place with a CDL driver at the wheel. I'm not defending the blue truck's attitude. However, the law is not written on the basis of courtesy. Laws are meant to be followed to the letter so to speak. Look at all the fools that swerve out of the granny lane while traveling under the speed limit because someone is exiting the merge lane.
Foolish and dangerous and puts others at risk because the operator wanted to be "courteous" and avoid an accident when the merging traffic was at fault the entire time. Laws are laws and meant to be literal while courtesy is subjective and incredibly relative to the particular situation at hand.Flat Earth Trucker, PaulMinternational, JoeyJunk and 1 other person Thank this.
