I bet Walmart doesn't lose anything when closing a store. I bet the city paid for the store to be built. A trade off for bringing jobs there. With this new tax break, they will save huuuuge.

Does it always have to be about you?
    This is an open forum.
Really is no call for name calling.
WM logistics include private fleet as well as outsourced transportation.
We get you defending your employer and you keep on enjoying the kool aid but times they are a changing, to quote Dylan, and when you get a few more years under your butt you'll see that it's not all about you.
And FYI I've no affiliation w the company but I pass them alot, shop there occasionally and have delivered to their dc in Bentonville several times in the 80's. (nice folks)

You are right they don’t loose anything. A majority of the stores and land are leased out. They are not owned by Walmart

They land maybe leased... someone has to pay to build the building.

Anyone heard tell of Prime losing the Wal-Mart account based in Lewiston, ME?.... I hear they're out by March.

Not that I care much (don't drive for either party), just chasing down a rumor. It's 1 of 2 large Prime accounts in the State. The other being McCain's run out of Easton (waaaaaay up north, potato country: 'The County' - Aroostook).
