Quite possibly could be a bit of a stretch but idk. Brandon brings up a great point that everyone insists on ignoring which is fine but doesnt change the fact

Well you ain’t going to like what I have to say

the second that he said that, I would have called the company and told them to get you out of his truck and what he told you. What dumb**** would say this in this highly regulated world shows what a moron he is.

Going to a dispensary shows that he doesn’t give a crap about his job or the safety of others,

More importantly seeing you did not call the company and you support this behavior, you are part of the problem we have in this industry, willing to accept pos drivers who screw everything up for all of us.

Remember this, as mentioned, something happens where there is a fatality, you and him are both on the hook and this can lead to financial punishment and jail time.

You are as foolish as he is. Stand up for yourself man. He's going to ruin your career, not just his. You are complicit in this! In what world do you think staying there until the training is over makes any sense at all? If you don't have the money to get out of that truck and go home we can start a pot for you......no pun intended.

So the update on this horrible is experience:
After being called at 4am because I pulled over after driving 7 hours and not 8, I've had it! I told my boss that it was not a good idea to pair me up with my partner, that, though I don't have experience I don't believe it is wise that I only drive at night in the mountains of Utah, Colorado while he sleeps, and that his (my partner) attitude is as though I gotta apologize for being new and as a result I'm jumping off this truck! He tried to convince me otherwise and said he would talk to my partner but by then the damage was done. I don't expect to be held by the hand but could use some guidance as to when to use the jake brake, or parking at a full Loves or not have to choose to either wash my face in the morning or get something to eat in the morning because,"we gotta go". So I jumped out the truck, took a cab to the closest hotel, rented a car and drove to Vegas to catch a direct flight to Tampa.
I read some comments here from some of you who do not believe what I originally posted but, fellas, what have to gain by purposely posting a lie on this site? I mean, I was reaching out for help not validation. So where it stands is I have applied to Schnieder. I have to accept that the mistakes I have to responsibility for are: I should have nipped it from day 1 and politely requested another partner ( the newbie bug of fearing that I was going to be out of a job if I did is my only excuse), most importantly this gig was gonna be out for month with 5 days off, a bit much for someone who never has driven for an afternoon let alone 30 days! So I bit off more than I can chew and have decided to , at the expense of sounding "soft" begin with baby steps.

Just so you know.....Schneider has probably the SHORTEST training of any Carrier. 10-14 days. That's it. SINK OR SWIM. Good luck!

Good for you. I guess my only question would be why didn't you give your company an opportunity to provide you with another trainer. Your saga went on far too long.
