This helped me pass my CDL Permit tests!

I took my three permit tests today and passed the first time! These are things to consider-

1. Study the manual thoroughly for the state you are testing in! Your questions will be worded differently than any practice test you have seen previously!
2. Read each question carefully!
3. Read all the potential answers before deciding on your answer!
4. Get plenty of rest and eat before you take the test.
5. The atmosphere in the BMV is noisy- prepare for that! Maybe bring earplugs. You can turn down the volume on the test computer if you do not want to hear the computer reading to you.
6. Relax! I had heard chewing gum helps with that, and by the third test, I started chewing!

Are you looking for someone to teach you to drive on your permit? If that's what you mean then good luck- there are insurance reasons for one, that this will be a challenge.

 

buddyd157- I have not provided any tips on driving anywhere! I have provided test taking tips I used for the written CDL Permit tests that helped me. I really have no idea what Gp4life meant when he said "I wanted to know if someone can left me ride with them and take my permit"

 

Thanks fss99701! I will! Expert? I'm still in my diapers trying to figure out how to get out of my baby bed! I sweated bullets during that written test, but now it's over! On to pre-trip study...
