I know a guy that got nabbed 122 in a 55 on his bike .
His origional charges , if he had been dumb enough to plead guilty and let them were $2,200 and six month suspension of his license but his $400 lawyer got it reduced to NO points and a $275 fine and 12 hours of community serviceThatGasDude, Another Canadian driver, W923 and 2 others Thank this. -
Not everyone is that fortunate. Your friend has angels on his side for real.Another Canadian driver, RockinChair and tscottme Thank this.

He still spent $975 AND 12 hours of his life, assuming he earns $20/hr working. Or he could have spent an extra 40 seconds on the day of the ticket in the jurisdiction by not speeding and not spent any money.Another Canadian driver, W923 and Mattflat362 Thank this.

Kinda old news. Back in the 50's. running dairy cows into Miami. I have never been across SW GA due to the then common knowledge that every constable, deputy and HP had their hand out for your pocket. It you drove into Ga, you were speeding... Roadside service for cash fines. We ran across AL to Dothan, then cut south thru Malone to hit US90 at Two Egg/Grand Ridge, 90 over to Tallahassee's first traffice light, down thru the College to US98 and let it out to Perry. Never compared the miles, just stayed out...wore out, Sons Hero, mustang190 and 1 other person Thank this.

My question would be why did he let them catch him at that point….Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

In Ontario his license would be suspended, vehicle impounded for 30 days and he’d have a court date where his license would be suspended for a further 10 months….plenty of semis get these tickets and since the New Canadians dont understand the rules they just roll with it or borrow another license
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
He was pursued into the drive through lane at Chuckie cheexeW923 and Another Canadian driver Thank this.
