    Just read an article in the Omaha world herald that says rail shipments are way down and UP has 4100 people on furlough and BNSF has 4600 people on furlough.

    Yea, I'm sure Hillary will fix everything.

    A good friend of mine works for CSX. He's been with them for 15 years and says it's the slowest he's seen it. Even with 15 years, he fears that he may not have enough seniority to survive the looming layoffs.

    Wow, Union Pacific is based in Omaha and iv never heard of them layin people off till now ...I was surprised to hear BNSF is layin off too.

    Just a thought but they put alot into hauling oil from bakkan and the tar sands, because if no pipeline. You might consider union pacific maybe be hurting because if that. Are they still moving alot of that oil?
