My truck came like that from the previous owner. It worked well enough but I had a flat floor with no carpet so I could sweep things out just as easily.
this might be a weird question

I did that almost every fuel stop, just habit. BUT a vacuum is so much easier to deal with.
I can't stand those air nozzle things that people use to blow out their cab. I was fueling up one day and had the windows open and the guy next to me used his and it created a dust/filth cloud and I had to spend about five minutes or so wiping everything down to get rid of it - and the crap stunk. -
That's pretty much how I do mine. Combination of that and a rechargeable dustbuster.

This is what I use.

It only draws like 1 amp and the filter is large enough I only clean it when I get back the the house. It would easily last months. I use the crevasse tool that it comes with to really get into those nasty areas. It only cost like 20 bucks tops. It comes as a full size floor vac but the handle and floor part come off and you can use it like a handi-vac. And being a 120v tool, it has way more power than a rechargeable one and no batteries to go bad later. I've had this thing at my house as my hard floor vac for probably 6 years.
Here is one at Target for 19.99.

I just took this pic of the floor of my truck under my pedals after using it. I am VERY funny about having a clean floor in my truck.
