You could try your local courthouse.Even though this may have happen out of state that doesn't mean the courthouse don't have a record of it.But I would talk to them in person rather then by phone and make sure you have a photo ID.TurtlesLikeI Thanks this.

Schneider originally rejected me back in 2015 for a 2011 accident. They definitely want you to wait 5 years.
-
Did the recruiter reject you or was it during orientation? They've already had me do a urine/hair test (locally, for some reason) and the plan is for them to fly me to Dallas for a refresher then to Phoenix to some supposedly brand new facility for orientation. Seems like they'll have put a lot of money into me just to reject me over something they already know - I stressed in my application that I don't have details about the ticket. No at fault accidents though.
-
I'd just gamble and go with Schneider. Even if they fire you later, there's plenty more companies that will hire you. Don't say any more about it to Schneider and get started.
TurtlesLikeI and bobtrucks2204 Thank this. -
Working on it, waiting to hear from recruiter and see if everything got finalized yet. Also, don't they have you do paperwork at orientation and ask all that stuff again? I'd have to lie basically...
-
I don't know; never worked for Schneider. I'm sure they go over the application again. Some companies ask trick questions trying to see if you're being deceptive. You do what you want to, but if it were me, and I really want to work there, just go and hope for the best. It's not the end of the world and remember, "I told the recruiter all that before I came here and he said it's all good to go."
Many other companies don't care what happened over 3 years ago.
That's your call though, I'm just stating what I would do if it were me, but you must make this decision for yourself only.Last edited: May 26, 2017

I think his concern is that when he fills out the questionnaire at orientation, and he puts 8/31/2014, and it really happened 9/15/2014, they'll dump him for falsifying an answer.
To the op, many times I've forgotten the actual date, but they don't seem too upset if it is close to when it happened. -
we all have a driving record from the first day we got a driver's license. all of that, carries over to our CDL.
so you can get a "lifetime" driving record, in person, from your DMV. you will have to go in person and pay whatever fee's are applicable.Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
LOOK OP, I am going to tell you what my lawyer just said when I asked him this morning.
SO Listen carefully.
The ticket doesn't matter, you can put down - "speeding - Medical emergency".
AND note right on there - "do not remember the time, place or circumstances because it was a medical emergency".
If asked, tell them you don't remember but you know it was paid for. AND if pressed tell them you remember the cops pulled you over going to the hospital because your girl had gallstones and he tagged you for 5 over the limit. <<<<< that's plausible and that is ALL they need.
Why?
Because of this simple fact, if it was a 15 over, driving without insurance, reckless/careless driving, DUI/DWI or anything else that is really serious - by law the ticket has to be defined in your driving records with details and that's been the way it is for a few decades. This is what they are looking for, this is what their insurance company needs to know to insure you.slim shady and Chinatown Thank this.
