You asked for advice, we gave it and you are not hearing what you want to hear so you are now judging others. It is best not to attack anyone because next time you may get nothing but crap when you actually need help.

 

I'm not sure I heard a lot of sound advice. I heard a lot of opinions and chatter and a few made some very good points.

 

It was advice not to bite the hand that give advice, we gave advice, the OP is getting a little agitated by the responses from others who see this as an ongoing thread about nothing.

So take it as you will, we all offered something different to help him and others out in a similar situation.

 

Dave, I only know how my memory works and I don't make any claim to know how yours works, but...

I have forgotten JOBS I had as a teen until something really jarred the memory loose. I can recall minutia about things that I was really interested in when I was a kid but I can't remember events in my life that some people would consider really exciting in any detail (or at all, sometimes) unless I refer to my contemporaneous notes.

People who tell me in depth about event after event from their lives with names, dates and extraneous details, all in abundance, strike me as either having an extraordinary memory or a gift for story telling that may not be entirely factual. I suspect there are more story tellers in the world than there are people with extraordinary memories.

You may be a person with that extraordinary memory, but that means you are extraordinary and you have to remember most of us in this world are just ordinary and make your judgments accordingly.
