This trucking is confusing, help.

Oh yeah...I definitely agree that beverage doesn't pay as good... considering the amount of work you have to do. Bulk delivery on the other hand pays pretty good for both Pepsi and Coke. A lot of them make over $80k, but you usually have to work your way up in order to land that job. I'm not knocking OTR...did myself for a year and I did enjoy the time that I did it. Getting to see the country and going to new places was something I definitely missed, but overall...the pay just sucked. Didn't even come close to what Local payed. And not all Local jobs pay that great either. There are plenty of crappy paying jobs out there, but if you can land one of the PREMIER Local jobs...like LTL Linehaul, UPS or Grocery, there's really no comparison.
