I started looking for a new truck.

I gotta say I’m impressed. The difference between 2016 and 2022 is amazing. The fit, the functionality etc on a new volvo and my Freightliner is night and day.

I was looking 6-8 months ago and walked away at the insane pricing. Trucks of the same like and kind I saw that were $130k are now $85k.

$100k seems to have all crap I want…
300k with lots of warranty left
Apu
The bigger 860
Bigger fridge
I dig the dennys booth that converts to the lower bunk
Insane claims on fuel mileage from guys I know running them.
Volvo has their own factory extended warranty for about $10k that adds 2 years and 250,000 miles to the engine, transmission, and after treatment.
So many nice little add ons that really add to my comfort.

Anyone financed through Volvo?

Any thoughts on what color track suit I should wear?

I finally got a dog for my truck!!


She’s been on board for two weeks. A classic Stanfordshire bull terrier She’s house broken and just a 100% good dog. Her name Daisy and she is (1) year old. She was in a high kill shelter in the high desert when I found out about her. My wife and son met her last week. This week I finish up my current run and get her to the house so she can acclimate there.
