Id stick with company A for at least a year then. See if you have any real prospects of moving from a driving position or to a home daily position, if at the end of a year your not happy you can go back to company B no harm no foul.

The only way I would go back to company B would be in management, not as a driver. You quit for a reason. I would not ever go back to something I quit before.
I would talk to my travel agents about my schedule and see if I could get a reduction in hours. I would wager money that there are drivers that start their shift after you, but they’re back at home 2 hours before you even make it back to the yard. Everyone is not putting in 14 hour days. So, if they don’t want to play ball, I would do like @Flat Earth Trucker said and look for company C.faux_maestro, bbq247365 and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
