was just hire as a consultant for a broker that wanted to buy a used tractor for a new FedEx contract, wanted a fuel efficient tractor with fleet specs and be able to put an average driver on,
They first sent to to check out a 2011 Freightliner Cascadia, Well it ran and no nicks or dings but I told them that they would never keep a good driver on it price was $72K
Found them a 2012 KW 660,,13spd ultra shift, 485hp, disc brakes,,new Michilen rubber, bunkheater, 70(something sleeper) and a frig for $69K..well it was not bad,,
As for me I would never drive a truck like this,,sure it drove good, but it was a truck for dummies,,was no better than a 63 F model Mack I drove in the 70's for UPS (I quit)
Have to say the KW 660 was 10 times the truck compared to the Cascadia,,(real nothing of a truck) still both were not much of a truck for a good driver with experience,, neither was a good tool for a good driver ,both were just a cab with a sleeper , motor and that was about it.
