I'm probably posting this in the wrong area, but the rule is due out next month. It's all speculation, but what do y'all think it will be set to? Think it will apply to new production only or be will every truck have to retrofit? Just asking opinions....

Probably 65 mph. Retrofit. But what do I know.
ExOTR Thanks this. -
Well, most tires rated at 70 max...so not more than that...
Then SAFETY is a big issue...We are supposed to be leaving power on back up for steer tire pops and other catastrophic events..Were all gonna be riding the governor!! Me too dang it...
The law should be NO governorsExOTR Thanks this. -
This means Prime and Crete will have to turn their trucks up?CasanovaCruiser, ramblingman, Straight Stacks and 3 others Thank this.

Probably.

I've drove several cars with governors.
Taurus has a mykey setting for instance.
I sold one that was set at 70 lol.
80mph is the more common governed for four wheelers. Makes sense in case it would see the pickle parkway.
Personally I'd like to see all trucks limited to 55 mph. Cars at 65.
People are in a hurry to do nothing.Canned Spam and ExOTR Thank this. -
I'd like to see trucks governed to 66 and cars to 65 1/2..JReding, Dye Guardian, CasanovaCruiser and 9 others Thank this.
